A scripted series based on Amy Winehouse’s life is in the works.
The eight-part show will be based on Daphne Barak’s book, Saving Amy.
The singer’s career, relationships, artistry, and drug and alcohol addiction will be followed in the series.
Studio executive David Ellender says they “look forward to telling her story in the most poignant way possible.”
There is no word yet on when the series will be released.
