Avril Lavigne Recreates “Let Go” Cover Art

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of her debut album, Avril Lavigne is treating her fans. In the same spot as the original album photo, the singer went back to Canal Street in New York to recreate the 2002 album’s cover art.

The video was part of a TikTok trend in which people recreate old images of themselves and post both the original and the updated version of the image, paired with Simple Plan’s “I’m Just a Kid.”

 Similar to how she did on the cover of “Let Go”, Avril Lavigne stares down the camera while crossing her arms as she crosses the street in her music video.
