“Boy Meets World” star Ben Savage is running for Congress in southern California.
The actor announced his bid on social media, writing that it is “time to restore faith in government.” He is vying to represent the state’s 30th Congressional District in place of Democrat Adam Schiff.
Savage has attempted to enter politics in the past without success. He unsuccessfully ran for West Hollywood City Council last year.
