Indiana drivers will be paying extra for gas next month due to record-high gas prices.
The Indiana Department of Revenue announced Monday that the state’s gasoline use tax will increase by 29.1 cents per gallon beginning in July.
The current price of a gallon of regular gas in Indiana is $5.13, according to the American Automobile Association. Indiana’s gasoline use tax was 18.2 cents per gallon at the start of the year.
