Giselle Valentin / News Director

Giselle is a senior at the University of Indianapolis majoring in communication with a concentration in sports information and electronic media and minoring in Spanish. She currently serves as News Director for WICR. Giselle’s media experience ranges from being WICR’s Digital Media Manager and  Sports Editor for The Reflector,  on-air personality, UIndy TV staff member, a sideline reporter and color commentator for radio and TV sports broadcasts, promotions assistant for Radio One, and former Indy Eleven intern.

After college, she aspires to work in sports media. Giselle’s media career is driven by her desire to connect with her listeners and provide them with a sense of joy and comfort.
