A Brazilian swimmer with an American Dream like everyone else. The difference is, Leticia Vaselli can shine without giving her a spotlight. Coming to study in an American university outside her country wasn’t easy, but the desire to fulfill the dream of studying abroad was larger than her fear of the unknown.
Starting a broadcasting class was definitely in her plans, but falling in love with Radio was not. Every time she enters the studio and a talk break, it feels freeing and gives her a sense of accomplishment. Her love for radio created a new goal of working in the broadcasting industry in the future. Not so distant from this future, she was the News Director for WICR and enjoyed her role to teach others about the world of a radio reporter. Leticia is intuitive, creative, fun, dedicated, passionate, spontaneous and the newest Operations Manager at WICR.
